Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee will assist the GTIA Board by studying specific issues, identifying options, and drawing up recommendations for board action. The committee’s only authority is that which is assigned to it by the board. A priority for the Nominating Committee is to recruit new board members.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting Procedures/Schedule

May/June: Recommend procedures for fall elections to board of directors

June/July: Coordinate w/Communications Committee on an article for publication in the August Newsletter/Website on board nomination procedure

August: Prepare for September newsletter follow-up article on board nomination  

December:  Welcome new board members
