Green Trails property owners are cautioned to be aware of restrictions insofar as what an owner may, may not, or must do with respect to their real estate. Such restrictions may be found in legal documents filed with the DuPage County Recorder’s Office, https://www.dupagecounty.gov. Additional property restrictions and requirements are addressed in Village of Lisle codes and ordinances, https://www.villageoflisle.org. Failure to abide by such restrictions may result in unintended and potentially serious consequences for property owners.
The onus for determining restrictions pertaining to private property rests solely with the real estate owner. GTIA is responsible for and only has authority over the Common Area deeded to the association. Governing documents for property within GTIA’s purview, including the “Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Green Trails Improvement Association”, are available on the GTIA website, https://www.greentrails.org.
